Salt Restaurant Food Server

Starting Pay Rate: $10.70 hourly plus tips

As a Food Server you will provide excellent customer service by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You’ll work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure accuracy, speed, and quality in every service.

What does a Food Server do?

• Always provides prompt, courteous and professional food & beverage service to all guests.
• Ensures that areas are clean, orderly and stocked with the specified condiments and promotional material. Ensures that tables are set properly according to assigned area.
• Monitors reserved seating and correctly informs guests regarding seating requirements and food and beverage minimum purchases.
• Effectively takes guest orders in a timely manner. Ensures that beverage orders are taken within two minutes after guest is seated.

To be successful as a Food Server, you'll need:

• Previous fine dining tray or food server experience is mandatory.
• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests.
• Previous money handling experience; required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.
