Alternatives (PAIP) Administrative and Program Facilitator
Location: Woodstock, IL (In-person)
Pay: $19.00 - 22.00 per hour
This is a full time (35 hour week) position. The position is administration for the Alternatives Program. This individual will also have the opportunity to assist and facilitate group counseling.
Specific Schedule:
Mondays: 10:30am to 7:30pm (9 hrs.)
Tuesdays: 9:00am to 5:30pm (8.5 hrs.)
Wednesdays: 10:30am to 7:30pm (9 hrs.)
Thursdays: 9:00am to 5:30pm (8.5 hrs.)
Off on Fridays
About Us:
As a mid-sized nonprofit with a team of more than 50 professionals, Turning Point is proud to provide comprehensive domestic violence services to McHenry County. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team and make a difference in the lives of survivors. We are seeking a dedicated admin to join our Alternatives Team, focusing on psychoeducational programs like PAIP, PPI, and SIP.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Organize and schedule appointments.
- Prepare and create all program documentation.
- Data entry.
- Billing submissions.
- File reports with the court.
- Create status letters for court.
- Filing, typing, binding, scanning and carrying out administrative duties.
- Organize and order literature/pamphlets for the department.
- Take/track payments.
- Creating invoices for 3rd party agencies
- Maintain case management, database and documentation.
- Assist with facilitation of partner abuse intervention groups.
- Prepare status letters for court as needed per client request.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, or human services preferred (not required)
Strong communication and time management skills.
Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to complete required training and certifications. (40 Hour ICADV Training and 20-hour PAIP Training)
Time management and multi-tasking skills.
Experience in mental health or domestic violence field preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish & English) a plus.
