Responsibilities
- Coordinates plans and supervises field staff, including subcontractors.
- Coordinates and supervises contractor’s quality control.
- Responsible for profit/loss and timely completion of project.
- Responsible for project safety.
- Responsible for accurate cost reporting.
- Develops and trains employees for further advancement.
- Develops project schedule and continually reviews and maintains throughout the project duration.
- Initiates change order pricing.
- Ensures all field personnel meet budgetary requirements and project goals.
- Coordinates resources with other projects or Construction Manager for overall company scheduling.
- Maintains professional relationship with owner, Engineer and other members of the contract team
- Miscellaneous administrative duties such as filing, scanning, copying and other office errands as needed.

Desired Skills/Abilities
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience
- Strong oral/written communication and organizational skills
- At least 5 years’ experience in heavy/highway construction/ Asphalt, concrete rehabilitation of commercial projects.
- Ability to use Microsoft software
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Pass background/Drug screening
- Must be willing to travel
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Knowledge of construction paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.
- Maintain ability to work in high production environment.
- Demonstrated decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Accuracy at all times.
- Current North Carolina Driver s License required.
- Ability to obtain industry specific certifications.
