Responsibilities
- Contribute to updating and evolving our existing UI design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and adherence to best practices and brand guidelines
- Design reusable components and variants in Figma, leveraging Auto Layout and design-system standards to support scalable, consistent UI patterns
- Create and maintain design system documentation using the team’s documentation templates
- Partner with developers on component handoff, implementation questions, and UAT to ensure the built components match design intent and meet accessibility and quality standards
- Support the design of end-to-end UX design solutions for the website redesign, including user flows, wireframes, and clickable prototypes to create innovative and intuitive user interfaces, even when all requirements are not finalized
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer experience, digital product owners, developers, and marketing to understand business requirements
- Support the analysis of data and user feedback to identify pain points and areas for improvement, translating insights into actionable design recommendations
- Craft engaging and compelling interface copy that guides users through our product, translating complex interfaces into clear and user-friendly content, while maintaining brand consistency and enhancing the overall user experience
- Support the UX team with user research and usability testing to understand user needs and iteratively improve the website design
- Methods may include user interviews, card sorts, tree tests, and survey analysis
- 3 years of experience required
- Figma expertise
- UX certification or equivalent degree
- Experience working with design systems and creating reusable components in Figma
- Knowledge of accessibility standards
- Demonstrate effective, confident, and inspired communication skills; including the ability to listen and respond to comments and integrate them into revised work
- Ability to partner seamlessly with different members of the organization to understand the project requirements and goals
- Proven experience as a UX Designer, showcasing a strong portfolio of successful projects
- Strong sense of UI design, interaction principles, and best practices
- Proficiency working in Figma using design systems, creating low-to-high fidelity mockups, and crafting clickable prototypes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple design elements and interactions
- Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with user research and user testing, with an understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis
- Comfortable contributing to and following a user testing and research plan
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including UX writing expertise
- Experience demonstrating conceptual thinking and inspired execution
- Background in fintech, financial services or related industries
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience
