Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an RT Level I/II Technician located in Lake Charles, LA. The role involves conducting non-destructive testing and inspections to ensure the integrity and safety of mechanical equipment. Successful candidates will follow industry and safety standards while utilizing radiographic techniques to evaluate equipment conditions and identify potential areas of concern. Technicians must maintain accurate records and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality results to clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Radiation Safety and understanding of relevant safety protocols
- Knowledge of Radiologic Technology and practical experience in radiographic testing
- Working knowledge of Radiology principles and their application in equipment assessment
- Familiarity with industrial standards in non-destructive testing in mechanical and structural systems
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team environment
- Flexibility to work with demanding schedules and ability to adapt to client needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- TWIC card is preferred but not required
- Must have 40-hour Radiation Safety course
- Trainer status preferred (Level II)
