Senior Revenue Accountant McLean, VA · On-site (5 days/week)
A well-established, growing enterprise software company is hiring a Senior Revenue Accountant to join its contracts and revenue team. This is a backfill on a stable, tenured team with a strong manager and genuine room to grow — the kind of seat where your work is visible and your path forward is clear.
What you'll do
- Own percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue recognition, specifically for consulting/professional services revenue
- Assess what portion of fixed-price projects are complete and determine how much should be billed at each month-end
- Manage month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations tied to revenue and contracts
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate, timely revenue reporting
- Support audit and reporting requirements as needed
What we're looking for
- 3 years of accounting experience, ideally from a corporate environment (a public accounting background prior to corporate is a plus, but not required)
- Hands-on experience with POC / percentage-of-completion revenue, specifically for consulting or services revenue
- NetSuite experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- Detail-oriented self-starter who's comfortable owning their areas

Salary : $110,000 - $115,000
