Position Overview

The Pharmacy Technician will support medication distribution and pharmacy operations within the correctional facility, working closely with nursing and medical staff to ensure safe and accurate delivery of medications to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed provider
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
• Assist with inventory management and medication storage
• Ensure compliance with all facility, state, and federal regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to support patient care
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to correctional healthcare protocols

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician registration/certification in the state of Texas (required)
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a secure correctional environment
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
