WHAT YOU DO AS A DAY PROGRAM COORDINATOR

As a Day Program Coordinator, you make a huge impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities. You're responsible for monitoring, supervising, and participating in the development and implementation of person-centered behavior support, along with other support plans and curricula for each person. You will have the opportunity to coordinate a program that loves to have fun, be active and specializes in teaching all forms of art; drawing, singing, dancing, painting, playing of various instruments and more, as well as spending a lot of time experiencing adventures outside of their building. Some of the adventures the individuals love doing are being active, participating in special Olympics, bowling, hiking, going to museums, visiting national parks, swimming, playing pickleball and are generally open to trying new things. The Coordinator plans and executes specific activities in all of these areas.
