Pay Range

Turfway Park Racing & Gaming is a new gaming facility in Florence, Kentucky. Turfway Park Racing & Gaming features 850 popular, thrilling, state-of-the-art HRM games, a simulcast area with VIP section, event center, restaurants, and live horse racing.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Following the daily format provided, serve as the co-host of pre-race and simulcast broadcasts
• Provide in depth information, beyond the details that can be found in the past performances, to the viewer in a clear and concise manner
• Become an expert on everything happening at the track to guide fans through the racing day, promote wagering, etc.
• Meeting all deadlines, provide selections for each race for use on the simulcast show & website/app
• Coordinate with TwinSpires to promote the wagering platform, special offers on-air
• Provide guest analysis on wide array of podcasts & radio shows
• Record TwinSpires “expert picks” and race analysis videos as assigned
• Follow, evaluate and promote all the “Road to the Kentucky Derby” preps
• Assist in “Road to the Kentucky Derby” content as assigned
  
  

Education And Experience

• Three (3) to five (5) years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
  

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• The employee will be required to sit for extended periods of time
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also be required to stand: walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• The employee may be asked to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
• The employee may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate
