Job Summary
The Director of Marketing, Communications & Public Relations is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that support the company's business objectives and drive revenue growth. This role involves leading a team of marketing, communications, and PR professionals, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing relationships with external partners and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C channels.
- Define target market segments, customer personas, and value propositions to guide marketing efforts.
- Brand Management and Positioning:
- Lead brand management initiatives to ensure consistency and alignment across all marketing, communications, and PR activities.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and brand assets.
- Integrated Marketing Campaigns:
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute integrated marketing campaigns that leverage a mix of digital, social, print, and offline channels to reach target audiences and drive engagement.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and optimize campaigns for maximum impact and ROI.
- Communications and Public Relations:
- Develop and execute communications strategies that enhance brand reputation, manage corporate messaging, and engage with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, and media.
- Lead media relations efforts, including proactive pitching, press releases, media interviews, and crisis communications.
- Strategic and Financial
- Coordinate with company leaders to prepare and manage budgets for each division.
- Coordinate with company leaders to develop marketing strategic objectives.
- Create and present marketing and financial reports to leadership team.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of marketing, communications, and PR professionals
- Foster a culture of communication, collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or related roles, with demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of driving results and achieving business objectives through marketing initiatives.
- Experience in healthcare.
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Working Conditions
- Works in office area(s), warehouse, pharmacy, and some positions work in a long-term care environment (i.e. nursing home, drug rooms, nurses’ stations, resident rooms, etc.).
- Moves intermittently during working hours.
- Is subject to frequent interruptions.
- Is involved with customers, and customer representatives, family members, residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions and circumstances.
- Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel, and visitors.
- Communicate with the designated facility staff, nursing personnel, residents, or family members.
- Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Is subject to call back during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.).
- Is involved in community/civic health matters/projects as appropriate.
- Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
- Is subject to injury from falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc., throughout the workday, as well as reactions from dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoke, and other air contaminants.
- Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including TB and the AIDS, COVID-19, and Hepatitis B viruses.
- May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
Education
Must possess and maintain any and all necessary active and unencumbered certifications, degrees, or licenses in the necessary state, to the extent the position requires such certifications, degrees, or licenses.
