Turasky's Catering is hiring independent contractors for the following positions:
***Head Cook***
***Event Workers***
***Prep Cooks***
***Grill Cooks***
We are looking to hire workers in the following locations:
*Decatur, IL
*Shelbyville, IL
*Taylorville, IL
*Champaign/Urbana, IL
*Springfield, IL
*Auburn, IL

Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and current car insurance
Must be courteous and respectful with customers and coworkers
Must be able to clearly and appropriately communicate with others
Must be willing to work in the Central Illinois area (you get to choose which cities in Central IL)
Must be dependable
Must have a strong work ethic
Must be able to read instructions and follow directions effectively
Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs. (for some positions)
Must be able to drive to the event location (varies) and the catering kitchen in Decatur, IL
Food service experience preferred but not necessary for some positions.
Customer service experience preferred but not necessary for some positions.

Catering jobs vary and are not on a consistent schedule. You have the flexibility to choose which jobs you want and which jobs you don't want.
