All tips are pooled with serving staff working the event.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to foster a welcoming atmosphere
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Clear tables promptly while maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service
- Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet events, including arranging tables, linens, and dining ware
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, address concerns, and provide exceptional guest relations
- Follow food safety and handling procedures diligently to ensure health standards are maintained
- Support catering operations by bussing tables, refilling supplies, and assisting kitchen staff as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Culinary or banquet experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, and food safety protocols is beneficial
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably is essential
- A background in catering or food service roles will help you adapt quickly and succeed
