About the role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and develop our quality organization. Reporting to the Management Representative, you will own the quality management system, drive continuous improvement across the business, and serve as the primary liaison for customer quality matters. You will oversee the Quality Inspection, Quality Engineering, and Laboratory functions, coordinating across departments to ensure products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
Maintain and continuously improve the company quality management system; lead process audits, full-size product audits, and customer reviews; ensure quality objectives are defined and met across all departments.
Own the end-to-end customer complaint process — gather information, lead root cause analysis, drive corrective and preventive actions, and issue improvement reports back to customers in a timely manner.
Coordinate with R&D on new project inputs, timelines, and resource planning; manage new equipment qualification, process verification, PPAP execution, and transition to series production.
Oversee the implementation, investigation, cut-in, and progress tracking of engineering changes in series production; maintain up-to-date work instructions and ensure alignment between process parameters and shop floor execution.
Oversee quality monitoring throughout the production process; manage non-conforming product control; track quality failure costs and lead prioritized reduction plans to closure.
Feed back supplier-caused quality incidents internally and to customers; verify the effectiveness of supplier improvement actions; manage cost recovery claims for quality losses attributable to supplier defects.
Manage the factory laboratory and metrology room; ensure all measuring instruments are registered, calibrated or verified on schedule, and third-party verification is arranged where required.
Manage the company document archive; oversee the distribution, revision, retrieval, and destruction of controlled documents in compliance with QMS requirements.
What we're looking for
5 years of quality management experience in an automotive or industrial manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 and core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D)
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
Experience managing customer-facing quality issues, including complaint resolution and corrective action reporting
Familiarity with laboratory and metrology management, including instrument calibration and third-party verification
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to influence without direct authority
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
