What are the responsibilities and job description for the MORE Program Support Assistant position at Tuolumne Me-Wuk Tribal Council?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative and project support to the Housing Director for the MORE Program.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized program files, including participant records, contracts, and grant documentation.
- Assist in preparing required reports, updates, and supporting documentation for funding agencies.
- Support outreach and communication efforts related to housing opportunities and program participation.
- Assist with data collection, entry, and reporting for program performance and compliance metrics.
- Monitor and track program expenditures in coordination with finance staff.
- Ensure adherence to applicable tribal, federal, and grant-specific policies and procedures.
- Provide general customer service and respond to inquiries regarding the MORE Program.
- Perform other duties assigned to support housing program operations.
- Associate’s degree in public administration, business, construction management, social services, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Two (2) years of administrative or project coordination experience.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with Tribal governments or Native communities.
- Experience with grant-funded programs or compliance reporting.
