Custodial Worker

Job description:

Responsibilities:
- Perform general custodial duties, including cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
- Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly

Experience:
- Previous experience as a custodian or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
- Ability to operate buffing machines and other floor care equipment is desirable
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
