Security Project Manager Position Overview:

A Fortune 500 Company's Infrastructure Security (InfraSec), Data Center Security Team is looking for a Security Project Manager (SPM). The contractor SPM will be responsible for overseeing physical security design and the installation of security features and systems including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Camera Surveillance, Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Passive and Active Barriers, and other security features and capabilities consistent with security standards and public sector requirements. These contractors will perform security project management in support of new data centers, security support facilities, data center expansions, and special security projects.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: The Security Project Manager will be required to perform the following tasks as part of overall project management on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Lead physical security design and system installation for new data centers, data center expansions and special projects.
• Provide physical security project lifecycle management including specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close-out documentation.
• Manage security design build activities, QA/QC, and support processes.
• Attend and represent physical security project elements in construction planning meetings.
• Representative for physical security team acceptance, sign-off, and operational readiness validation for high security facilities in conjunction with other teams.
• Reporting performance metrics such as physical security system installation vendor service delivery performance, post installation defect rates, physical security program analysis, etc.
• Collaborate across teams to drive security projects.
• Provide weekly project updates to the Senior Security Program Manager

Security Project Manager Position Qualifications:

• Experience working with physical security design and/or implementation of electronic security systems such as Access Control System, Intrusion Detection System, and CCTV Surveillance systems. Familiarity with security in depth strategies.
• Experience in program or project management, leading both technical and non-technical teams focusing on physical security standards and designs.
• Familiar project management and design and construction software.
• Proficient understanding of construction plans, elevations, and other design and construction artifacts for architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and telecommunications plans.
• Position requires occasional travel to facilities within a 50-mile radius of the city where the position is assigned.

This posting is for a contract assignment with Tundra Technical Solutions to provide services to a Fortune 500 client.

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $78/hour - $85/hour.
