Onsite Medical Representative Amazon Workplace Health & Safety
Overview
Fortune 50 Companies Workplace Health & Safety team is looking for an experienced, proactive Onsite Medical Representative to support our Sacramento CA facility. You'll serve as the frontline health resource for Company Associates - delivering first aid, guiding injury prevention, managing workers' compensation cases, and fostering a culture of wellbeing. You'll work alongside the WHS site manager, WHS specialist, and Injury Prevention Specialist as part of a close-knit safety team.
Responsibilities
- Provide first aid, independently assess occupational and non-occupational injuries/illnesses, and refer to outside medical providers as needed
- Minimize injury risk through proactive engagement, safety coaching on the operations floor, and education on body mechanics and ergonomics
- Maintain accurate records of care, daily activity logs, end-of-shift reports, and medical supply inventory
- Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work programs; participate in weekly case management and associate safety committee meetings
- Facilitate and maintain First Aid, CPR, and AED certification training; respond effectively to onsite emergencies
- Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols and greet new hires as part of health onboarding
Requirements
Must Have:
- EMT certified
- 1 years hands-on medical experience
- Comfortable conducting medical assessments
- Medical record-keeping and documentation skills
Nice to Have:
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- CPR certified
Disqualifiers:
- No EMT
- No direct medical experience in a professional setting
Logistics
- Location: Fully onsite - Sacramento CA (4930 Allbaugh Drive, Sacramento, CA, 95837-9109)

- Contract duration: 3 months, extension or conversion possibility TBD
- Start: ASAP (Aug 10)
- Training schedule:
- Sunday through Wednesday (07:00 – 19:30)
- Wednesday through Saturday (07:00 – 19:30)
- Shift Schedule: Same as above but flexibility to work nights is required based on business needs
- 1 round virtual/phone screen interview direct with hiring manager
Training Details
- All new hires will complete RAMP/ROC training followed by process path training.
- During the first few days, Medical Representatives work alongside warehouse associates and perform tasks such as operating forklifts and handling packages. This provides firsthand knowledge of warehouse processes, common injury types, how injuries occur, and the most appropriate treatment methods.
- This hands-on training typically lasts up to 4 days.
- Initial training may be Monday–Friday day shifts, after which the contractor transitions to their assigned schedule.

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30/hour - $36/hour.
