Developer III – NX/CAD Software Developer
Overview
The NX/Teamcenter/ECAD development team is looking for an experienced NX software developer to support three active initiatives: NX Checkmate development, ECAD integration, and NX version upgrades. The work centers on building custom NX features and applications using NXOpen and developing integrations that connect CAD, PLM, and ERP systems. You'll collaborate closely with engineering teams across the organization. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role for someone who knows NX development deeply and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom NX features and applications using NXOpen (C#, Python, or .NET)
- Build desktop applications that interface with NX, Teamcenter, ERP, and related engineering and manufacturing data systems
- Support NX Checkmate development and NX version upgrade efforts
- Develop and implement ECAD integration solutions
- Collaborate across engineering teams, provide technical support, and build processes that drive successful delivery
Requirements
Must-Have:
- 5–7 years of software development experience (preferably in CAD, PLM, or engineering environments)
- Strong proficiency with NXOpen (C#, Python, or .NET)
- Strong command of .NET and C#
- Experience with PLM and/or ERP systems and integration concepts
Nice-to-Have:
- NX Checkmate development experience
- ECAD integration experience
- Software Configuration Management (SCM) using GitHub or similar
The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $80/hour - $90/hour.
