Gym Manager and Instructor

Being a kids gym director and instructor is probably the most fun job you can possibly have. If you like working with a computer, familiar with social medias, enjoy exercise, staying healthy, and working with kids and families; and if you enjoy being a role model, working at Tumbles Fitness Gym STEAM may be for you.

*Weekends and Evenings as needed.

This is a full-time/part-time position depending on availability, 5- 40 hours per week.

Great gym manager can come in all shapes and sizes. Some are loud, some are athletic, some are artistic, some are funny, some are musical, some are excellent in marketing and social medias, and some are great writers who can make up crazy handshakes or nicknames, some are good financial planners with strong business management skills and can make up dances. One thing they all have in common, however, is that they all like being around kids and families, live a healthy life style, and enjoy fitness exercise. Good energy, a great heart and a desire to do the right thing and help kids grow are the biggest things we look for in our staff.

We are looking for a gym manager to make our 2026 the STRONGEST year EVER!

General Functions:

To provide the best children's programs available:

1. Teaching children's classes in a warm and friendly atmosphere

2. Hiring staff with personnel who care, are skillful, talented, enthusiastic and understanding

3. Maintaining the gym in a sparkling clean environment

4. Checking and keeping all equipment properly functioning and safe.

5. Supervising staff in a professional manner with both parents and children

6. Planning new programs, events, and implement marketing plans

7· Accepting party bookings and preparing necessary materials.

8· Managing party booking system and ensuring proper staffing.

9· Working as a party-host on Sat and/or Sundays.

10. Managing gym class bookings and promoting class enrollment.

11. Providing good customer services to families and children.

12. Planning and implementing summer Camp themes and activities.

13. Managing and scheduling staff.

Qualifications

· A person with gymnastics, early education, marketing, or business management background (Preferred)

· Physically fit to operate the gym, small equipment and promotes fitness in young kids

· Managerial experience is a plus

· Self-motivated, Responsible and Reliable

· Looking for high energy, friendly, reliable teachers who love working with children and relate well to adults

· Able to teach children 4 months to 12 years of age in a non-competitive environment.

· Strong computer skills

· Familiar with social media marketing

· College students with a Business Management or Finance major are encouraged to apply.

. Have reliable transportation.

Work hours (5-40 hours)

Pay: $20- $22/hr (20-40 hours per week) depending on certification and experience.

Bonus Pay: based on enrollment numbers and annual revenue.

Supplemental Pay: Tips when working as a party host at weekends (about $30- $50 per party.)

Education: College degree or 2-3-year college education Preferred.

Majors: Marketing, Small business, Business Management, Science, Sports Management, Writing, theater, dance, performance, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Finance, Childcare, Music, etc.

Experience: Customer service and Marketing experience: 3 years (Preferred)

Experience working with children and family.

Experience teaching young children preferred.
