Job Summary
Tumble Smart Athletics is seeking experienced, dependable, and values-driven leaders to serve as Program Coordinators across three key areas:
- Minis (Ages 9mo–6yrs)
- Beginner/Intermediate Tumbling
- Advanced Tumbling
Program Coordinators provide structure, mentoring, and leadership for coaches while ensuring consistency, safety, athlete progression, and alignment with our mission and values. This is a part-time leadership role with scheduled coaching hours, program oversight tasks, and occasional administrative responsibilities.
Program Coordinators play a key role in shaping the training culture, supporting coaches, and ensuring that each program area runs with excellence, structure, and safety. This role combines leadership, hands-on coaching, coach training, and program development, with focus areas tailored to the program level (Minis, Beginner/Intermediate, or Advanced).
Coordinators help maintain consistency in class structure, spotting safety, communication standards, and athlete development, while representing Tumble Smart’s core values of respect, responsibility, care, and excellence.
Duties
- Support and mentor coaches in class structure, pacing, corrections, and communication
- Ensure safe and developmentally appropriate skill progressions and spotting
- Oversee athlete advancement readiness, tracking, and placement discussions
- Help maintain consistent curriculum, expectations, and coaching standards
- Model positive, professional communication with staff, athletes, and families
- Uphold and represent Tumble Smart’s mission, values, and program culture
Requirements
- Prior experience coaching or teaching (age-specific experience depending on program)
- Strong knowledge of skill progressions and safe spotting (especially for Advanced)
- Organized, dependable, and able to lead with consistency and clarity
- Ability to communicate respectfully, encourage athletes, and mentor peers
- Comfort leading classes, managing groups, and representing program standards
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
