Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and professional team member to join our office as a Front Office Phone Coordinator. This role is essential to daily operations and serves as the primary point of contact for incoming calls. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and comfortable handling a high volume of phone communication throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
- Take accurate and detailed messages for nursing staff and providers
- Schedule and manage patient appointments
- Direct calls to appropriate staff when necessary
- Provide general information and assistance to patients
- Maintain a calm and courteous demeanor in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Basic computer skills and comfort with scheduling systems
- Dependable and punctual
Work Environment & Expectations:
- This position is primarily sedentary and involves sitting for the majority of the workday
- The role requires answering phones for a significant portion of each shift
- Must be comfortable handling a steady volume of calls and maintaining focus throughout the day
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
