Salary Grade: Hourly 08 | H-8

Position Summary: The Grounds Journeyperson performs a variety of tasks necessary to maintain the grounds and athletic fields for Tulsa Public Schools. This position will be required to complete all assigned work orders in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Two (2) years of grounds related work experience
- Previous experience using common hand tools
- Possess or the ability to obtain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Office Suite or able and willing to learn
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. with assistance
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, or reach for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
