Full Job Description: Certification Pathways Manager
Grade: Business Grade 8 | BG-8
Position Summary: The Certification Pathways Manager plays a mission-critical role in safeguarding the academic excellence and operational integrity of Tulsa Public Schools by ensuring all educators, instructional support staff and other credentialed staff are fully credentialed and compliant with Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) (and other certifying bodies) regulations. As the district's subject matter expert on certification. This role is the single point of accountability for managing the end-to-end credentialing lifecycle for all certified staff—from initial licensure through renewal, emergency certification pathways, and high-stakes compliance reporting.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, a closely related field or the equivalent combination of experience and education in lieu of degree
- Master’s degree in business, leadership, or closely related field is a plus
- Three (3) years’ experience in human resources or school site operational support; preferably within a large public school district
- Experience with recruitment, retention, education, and credentialing
- Working knowledge of human resources processes in an educational setting; particularly legal or employment procedures
- Thorough understanding of Oklahoma teaching certification requirements
- Working knowledge of OSDE single sign-on website
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS Systems and PowerSchool
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
