- Job Summary
Oversee and implement personal computer, terminal, printer technology repair operations, and installations at Tulsa Community College campuses. Facilitate communications related to these operations, and serve as resource team member for technology and technology services. Provide for and oversee institutional software installation.
- Essential Duties
Conduct and complete personal computer service operations complying with the operational standards established by the Client Services Supervisor.
Maintain an organized work schedule determined by the operations standard document and the Client Services Supervisor.
Serve as the campus communication liaison regarding new and upgrade equipment delivery and setup.
Remain current with hardware and software certifications as determined by the Client Services Supervisor.
Provide support services on campuses as determined by the Client Services Supervisor.
Document repairs completely and recommend improvements to better serve the institution.
Serve as a campus help desk resource for hardware, software and networking issues.
- Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent education in Information Technology, Networking, or related area. Degree requirement may be substituted with equivalent work experience.
Personal computer support/help desk experience.
Initiative to maintain current knowledge and skills related to personal computer technology.
Ability to perform duties with limited supervision.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge and experience in the area of personal computer diagnostics and repair.
Knowledge of personal computer operating systems and software including MS Windows, MS Office, and Professional Suite.
A Certification.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
Ability to climb a ladder 10ft or more
