Job Summary
The School of Liberal Arts & Public Service is seeking an Assistant Professor for Humanities to begin Fall 2023. The Assistant Professor will be expected to teach Humanities I: Prehistory through the Middle Ages, Humanities II: Renaissance to Early 20th Century, and Humanities III: Early 20th Century to the present survey courses, as well as ensure the success and retention of students while maintaining high academic standards.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in a Humanities related discipline.
Philosophy compatible with that of a comprehensive urban community college.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in Humanities-related discipline.
Potential to teach other Humanities courses as needed.
