Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Tulsa Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Tulsa, OK. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. Your expertise will enable our residents to achieve their maximum potential and improve their overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the delivery of physical therapy services in accordance with physician's orders and American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) guidelines.
Coordinates the achievement and reporting of the facility's key performance physical therapy indicators.
Evaluates and reports key performance indicator outcomes of the physical therapy department to the Rehabilitation Director to determine the need for action.
Develops and implements processes and systems to effectively lead, guide, and direct the delivery of physical therapy services.
Complies with facility policies and procedures for documenting, billing, and coding for residents receiving physical therapy.
Provides positive relationships with residents, employees, and family members through scheduled, deliberate interactions.
Participates in daily, weekly, and/or monthly rehabilitative and interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss residents' therapy progression and discharge planning.
Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care and services across the physical therapy spectrum.
Required Qualifications:
Valid, unrestricted license in the state.
Meet educational requirements of licensure requirements.
Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
Must possess a strong understanding of physical therapy practice act, scope of work, and supervision requirements.

Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to all facility policies and procedures.

Makes independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Personal Skills and Traits Desired/Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies/personnel.
Must have patience, tact, and willingness to deal with difficult residents, family, and staff.
Must not pose a threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.
Must be willing and able to move intermittently throughout the workday.

Compliance will be a factor in evaluating job performance.
Violations, including failure to report violations, will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
