Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Tulsa Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Tulsa, OK. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. Your expertise will enable our residents to achieve their maximum potential and improve their overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the delivery of physical therapy services in accordance with physician's orders and American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) guidelines.

• Coordinates the achievement and reporting of the facility's key performance physical therapy indicators.

• Evaluates and reports key performance indicator outcomes of the physical therapy department to the Rehabilitation Director to determine the need for action.

• Develops and implements processes and systems to effectively lead, guide, and direct the delivery of physical therapy services.

• Complies with facility policies and procedures for documenting, billing, and coding for residents receiving physical therapy.

• Provides positive relationships with residents, employees, and family members through scheduled, deliberate interactions.

• Participates in daily, weekly, and/or monthly rehabilitative and interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss residents' therapy progression and discharge planning.

• Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care and services across the physical therapy spectrum.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid, unrestricted license in the state.

• Meet educational requirements of licensure requirements.

• Valid driver's license in the state of employment.

• Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

• Must possess a strong understanding of physical therapy practice act, scope of work, and supervision requirements.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies/personnel.

• Must have patience, tact, and willingness to deal with difficult residents, family, and staff.

• Must not pose a threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.

• Must be willing and able to move intermittently throughout the workday.

Compliance as a Condition of Employment and Performance Appraisal:

• Agreement to abide by all standards, policies, and procedures of the facility, including the facility's compliance and ethics program, is a condition of employment.

• Compliance will be a factor in evaluating job performance.

• Violations, including failure to report violations, will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
