Cardiovascular Technologist or LPN – Procedure Prep & Recovery

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Cardiovascular Technologist or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our cardiovascular procedure team in Tulsa. In this role, you will support patients before and after lower-extremity peripheral arterial and venous procedures, helping ensure that every patient is clinically prepared, closely monitored, and comfortable throughout their visit.

What You Will Do

You will work closely with physicians and the clinical team to:

• Prepare patients for cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Assist with patient admission, pre-procedure preparation, and post-procedure recovery.
• Obtain and routinely monitor vital signs and other relevant clinical measurements.
• Review medication lists, medical history, allergies, and pertinent clinical information.
• Confirm that required pre-procedure instructions, testing, and documentation have been completed.
• Recognize changes in a patient’s condition or level of acuity and promptly communicate concerns to the physician and clinical team.
• Help patients understand what to expect before, during, and after their procedure.
• Support patient comfort, education, safety, and discharge readiness.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to provide an efficient and positive patient experience.

What We Are Looking For

• Current LPN license or applicable cardiovascular technologist/technician credentials or experience.
• Cardiovascular, vascular, procedural, preoperative, postoperative, or recovery experience is preferred.
• Candidates without direct cardiovascular procedure experience may be considered when they demonstrate a strong interest in the specialty and a willingness to learn.
• Strong patient-monitoring, communication, and clinical judgment skills.
• Ability to recognize clinical concerns and escalate them appropriately.
• Familiarity with commonly used cardiovascular medications is preferred.
• Dependable, organized, team-oriented, and attentive to detail.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Training and Professional Development

We provide a structured onboarding program combining hands-on clinical instruction and didactic education. Training generally lasts three to four weeks, depending on the candidate’s previous experience and individual learning needs.
