Tulley Automotive Group is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Parts Counterperson to join our busy GMC and Buick parts department.
If you have experience working in a dealership, independent repair facility, stand-alone parts store, heavy equipment, powersports, or small engine environment, we would like to speak with you.
This position plays a key role in supporting both our service technicians and retail/wholesale customers by providing accurate parts lookups, maintaining inventory flow, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist service technicians, retail customers, and wholesale accounts with parts needs
- Accurately identify and source OEM parts and accessories
- Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and special orders
- Maintain organized inventory and assist with stocking and receiving
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
- Help ensure efficient workflow within a high-volume parts department
Qualifications
- Previous automotive parts experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts systems and terminology
- GM experience is a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism
- Dealertrack software experience is helpful
