Research Aide 1
Hourly Pay Rate: $15/hour graduate-level students, $12/hour undergraduate
This position will support two active nutrition-related studies in the Department of Epidemiology: PHS and CHOP. You will be part of a small team of two Research Coordinators and 2-3 other Research Assistants on site at the Tidewater Building.
This position will help student employees demonstrate and cultivate the career readiness competencies in accordance with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).

Research Aide 1

This position will support two active nutrition-related studies in the Department of Epidemiology: PHS and CHOP. You will be part of a small team of two Research Coordinators and 2-3 other Research Assistants on site at the Tidewater Building.
- Assist the PHS Clinical Research Coordinator in recruitment and outreach to study participants
- Enter data into REDCap database.
- Work with other RAs to move samples, prepare supply kits, and manage data.
- Qualified and interested assistants will support Lab Technician and Clinical Research Coordinators in lab tasks, including the collecting, processing, and storing of biological samples.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.
- Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University and in good standing
- CITI Certification in Group 1: Biomedical Research Investigators and Key Personnel is required for this position. This certification is available and free to Tulane affiliates. You may work towards this accreditation after hiring, but cannot work on site until it is completed.
- Good communication skills, able to follow instructions and protocols, maintain a schedule.
