Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00
The Lifeguard will support Campus Recreation in various administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
This position will help student employees demonstrate and cultivate the career readiness competencies in accordance with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).

JOB DESCRIPTION
Lifeguard

The Lifeguard will support Campus Recreation in various administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assuring swimmers are supervised at all times
- Being aware of and implementing safety guidelines
- Following safety and security protocols during swim lessons
- Performing routine maintenance
- Assisting in the direction, supervision, and organization of swimmers in the pool and during swim lessons
- Attending all required orientations and meetings
- Completing annual certifications
- Enforcing all Reily Center policies and procedures
- Providing customer service and professionally interacting with patrons and staff
- Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University
- 16 years of age or older
- A Federal Work Study Award (potentially)
- A current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification (potentially)
