Library Aide
Hourly Pay Rate: $10.00 - $18.00
The Library Aide will support the mission of the Tulane Library Systems.

This position will help student employees demonstrate and cultivate the career readiness competencies in accordance with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).

Library Aide
Hourly Pay Rate: $10.00 - $18.00
The Library Aide will support the mission of the Tulane Library Systems.
Responsibilities
- Reshelving, sorting, and preparing book trucks or books to be reshelved for circulation
- Shifting, as needed, in order to accommodate new books on overloaded shelves
- Preparing informational packets for events
- Review/check newly cataloged books and newspapers for processing/labeling errors
- Assisting with exhibits and events
- Answering phones and general clerical assistance as needed
- Helping with special projects
- Completing light cleaning duties
- Pick up packages and mail sent to the department
- Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University
- A Federal Work Study Award (potentially)
- Prior experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools
