Camp Counselor
Hourly Pay Rate: $10.00 - $20.00
The Camp Counselor will support the Athletics department in various administrative and operational tasks.

This position will help student employees demonstrate and cultivate the career readiness competencies in accordance with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).

JOB DESCRIPTION
Camp Counselor

The Camp Counselor will support the Athletics department in various administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Camp Director with the organization and coordination of all aspects of camps
- Assisting the Camp Director with the teaching of sport specific fundamentals and skills associated with their assigned sport which includes but is not limited to;
- observing individual techniques
- evaluating performance skills
- demonstrating proper techniques to improve participants skill level
- Ensuring that all Department of Athletics and University related activities operate in full compliance with university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations
- Attending and participating in scheduled compliance seminars and complies with all the Athletic Department’s efforts to monitor compliance with NCAA regulations
- Seeking interpretations from the compliance staff before acting when necessary
- Reporting potential rules violations immediately
- Completing required compliance paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitoring all of their areas and/or programs activities closely to maintain compliance with applicable rules and regulations
- Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University
- A Federal Work Study Award (potentially)
