The Administrative Aide 1 will support the department/organization in various administrative and operational tasks.

Administrative Aide 1

The Administrative Aide 1 will support the department/organization in various administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with day-to-day operations of the department
- Assist in preparing and recording journal entries for grants and contracts
- Analyze account balances to ensure accuracy and readiness for project closeout
- Support accountants with financial reporting through spreadsheet preparation and data analysis
- Perform various Excel-based tasks to organize, track, and validate financial data
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to produce reports and maintain documentation
- Supporting department staff
- Providing customer service
- Updating and maintaining department files
- Demonstrating professional verbal and written skills
- Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University
