Job Description
Assists with the weekend operations of the Tulane Campus Recreation downtown fitness center. Primary responsibilities include the supervision of front line staff, assisting with customer inquiries, general maintenance, and equipment inventory and upkeep. This position ensures efficient building operations, and accurate dissemination and enforcement of facility policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include opening of the facility, and routine safety and facility inspections.

Selected candidates must complete and pass a background check and an occupational health screening as a condition of employment. For identified jobs, a drug screening will also be required. The background investigation, required occupational health screening, and any required drug screening will be conducted after a conditional employment offer has been extended.

- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to diverse user groups
- Ability to work independently
- Current certifications in CPR and First Aid

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of relevant job experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Sport Administration or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in the supervision of facilities and facilities staff
