Tufts University Advancement (UA) is a comprehensive development and alumni engagement enterprise with a staff complement of approximately 200 full time employees. The Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University is the only graduate school of nutrition in the U.S. The school educates tomorrow’s leaders and affects change today. Courses are taught by highly collaborative faculty who work with students to take the full view of our global food system. The study of nutrition is not only about the science of nutrients in food, but also about chronic disease prevention, fair labor practices, economics, politics, climate change, data analytics, epidemiology, and food systems modeling, among other topics.
