Role Summary

The Inside Sales Representative supports the company's sales goals. The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the Sales, Purchasing, and Production teams. This involves collaborating with the Sales team to ensure customer demands are met, working with the Purchasing team to ensure that orders are fulfilled, and collaborating with the Production team to ensure that products are delivered on time. The primary role of the Inside Sales Representative is to manage quotes, orders, and customer inquiries.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing solutions to meet their needs.
  • Identify, create, and track new sales opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Proactively resolve customer concerns and requests in a timely, professional manner.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls to maintain strong customer relationships and uncover new opportunities.
  • Effectively use CRM tools to document all interactions and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Provide customers with accurate information on product availability, lead times, and pricing.
  • Prepare and process quotes and sales orders using ERP software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the sales team and company objectives.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage a diverse, high-volume workload.
  • Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM tools.
  • Comfortable learning and using ERP systems.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Prior sales experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Benefits:

  • Total Compensation Range: $60,000-$65,000 annually
