Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift 11:00PM-7:30AM

Pay: $67,000 – $73,000 per year

Shift: First Shift | Monday–Friday, with Saturdays as needed based on production demand

Language Requirement: Ability to speak Spanish is required. Translation apps do not work for this role.

Position Overview

The Production Supervisor – 1rd Shift is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations and employee performance during first shift. This role owns daily execution of production schedules, staffing, quality standards, and employee accountability. The Production Supervisor leads Area Supervisors and production teams to ensure safety, quality, and output goals are met consistently.

This is a leadership role focused on managing people and production—not a machine-operator position. The Production Supervisor is the primary decision-maker on the floor for first shift.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Shift Execution

• Own second-shift production execution to meet schedule, quality, and efficiency targets
• Assign labor and adjust staffing in real time based on priorities, call-outs, and workload
• Identify and resolve workflow issues, bottlenecks, and resource constraints
• Communicate daily priorities clearly to Area Leads and production teams

People Leadership & Accountability

• Directly supervise Area Supervisors and production employees on third shift
• Enforce attendance, performance, and conduct standards consistently
• Provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action, including formal write-ups
• Lead in hiring, onboarding, and training of production employees
• Oversee terminations when necessary in alignment with company policy

Quality & Safety

• Enforce quality standards and ensure QC processes are followed
• Address quality issues in real time and support corrective actions
• Enforce safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe work practices
• Respond to incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions promptly

Communication & Reporting

• Conduct shift start-ups and ensure smooth first-shift execution
• Communicate shift status, issues, and handoffs to leadership
• Escalate recurring issues with proposed solutions

Continuous Improvement

• Reinforce standard work and operating procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and team performance
• Support training and cross-training efforts to strengthen the workforce

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Proven ability to lead teams, enforce standards, and handle discipline professionally
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual Spanish/English required
