Supervises and prioritizes daily operations of phlebotomists and lab assistants. Assists in selection of personnel for hire, performance management, and makes recommendations on discipline and termination. Ensures service level agreements are met through implementation of operational efficiencies. Will oversee all aspects of reference lab/send out testing, as requested.

Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Required: 3 years of phlebotomy or specimen processing (pre-analytic) experience with increasing responsibility in an acute care facility
Certifications
Required: Phlebotomy certification where State law requires
Preferred: Completion of formal phlebotomy training program and/or national phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ANP, ASPT or similar
