Role Description
Tucson Asphalt Contractors is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Administrator to join our team in Tucson, AZ. This full-time, on-site position plays a critical role in supporting project managers, estimators, field crews, customers, municipalities, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
The Project Administrator serves as a central point of coordination for project setup, documentation, customer communication, permitting, compliance requirements, cost tracking, invoicing, and project closeout activities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, maintains exceptional attention to detail, and is committed to ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and successfully.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, administrative, and project coordination skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience with document management, reporting, and project tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in construction, civil construction, paving, or related industries preferred
- Knowledge of permits, municipal processes, project documentation, and compliance requirements is a plus
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred
