Warehouse Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding our standards of quality and safety. Along with working in a retail environment as needed.

Duties

• Perform inventory control tasks to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Operate order pickers, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to efficiently retrieve and transport products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment such as electric jacks and materials handling tools to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
• Be customer service oriented for working in our bin store as needed.
• Must be able to commute and work in our bin store to restock the bins.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with inventory control systems and processes.
• Ability to operate various warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
