PAY: $25/hour
The Pain Management Department is seeking a highly organized and patient-focused Support Coordinator to manage front desk operations and administrative tasks. This individual will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced outpatient setting and supporting key functions such as scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorizations, and patient check-in/check-out.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients at the front desk
Schedule appointments and procedures
Collect copays and verify insurance eligibility
Process referrals and prior authorizations
Handle check-out procedures and follow-up scheduling
Ensure all required insurance authorizations are obtained for procedures
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar administrative support role
Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
- Familiarity with medical terminology and front desk operations
Previous experience using Cerner EMR
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in a high-volume clinic setting
