Job Title: Project Manager – Human Resources
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid – M/W/Th)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (LOA Coverage)
Pay Rate: $70–75/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Project Manager to support key Human Resources initiatives within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This role will lead both internal and external HR projects, driving operational excellence, scalability, and alignment with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of HR projects, including talent programs, employee experience initiatives, performance management, and benefits renewals
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution
- Drive change management efforts to support organizational growth and transformation
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, data privacy regulations, and internal policies
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Establish and track KPIs to measure success and continuously improve HR programs
- Develop and standardize project processes, playbooks, and documentation for scalability
Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years supporting HR-related initiatives
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology environment preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Project Management, or related field
- PMP, PMI-ACP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or similar certifications preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee lifecycle, and HRIS platforms
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
