Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Commissioning & Qualification Validation/ Calibration Consultant to join our client’s operations for a 6-month assignment. This role will be instrumental in supporting the commissioning, qualification, calibration, and maintenance efforts of critical systems and equipment in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, execute, review, and approve protocols for Commissioning, Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) related to equipment, facilities, and utilities.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects ensuring timely and high-quality execution of commissioning and qualification tasks.
- Collect and manage data generated during qualification activities, ensuring compliance with data integrity and regulatory expectations.
- Draft specifications for equipment and materials; support engineering investigations and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Support the calibration and preventive maintenance activities for instrumentation used in manufacturing, laboratory, and R&D operations, including coordination with third-party vendors when applicable.
- Ensure continued compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements including 21 CFR 211, 21 CFR 820, Part 11, and applicable ISO standards.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Calibration teams to meet operational and regulatory objectives.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, and regulatory standards governing pharmaceutical operations.
- Familiarity with calibration processes and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Experience with ISPE guidelines is a plus.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, maintain compliance focus, and operate with minimal supervision.
