Description
We are seeking a detail-driven AutoCAD & Inventor Drafter to support the design and engineering department of a well-established manufacturer in the commercial food service equipment industry. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about mechanical design, technical drawings, and contributing to high-precision stainless steel fabrication.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create detailed technical drawings and flat pattern layouts from sketches or design notes.
- Ensure accuracy in dimensions, materials, and part relationships for functional production.
- Use AutoCAD and Inventor software to develop 2D and 3D models for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project specifications.
- Adjust and revise drawings to comply with engineering updates or improvements.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or engineering staff.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor is required.
- Experience in mechanical drafting or design within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong spatial awareness and understanding of mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret and transform technical sketches into production-ready drawings.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
