Assembly Production Assistant Manager

TS Tech Alabama is hiring an Assembly Production Assistant Manager at our Boaz, AL plant. The Assistant Manager will oversee multiple activities simultaneously and take ownership of the output from the employees working on their team. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for exhibiting a strong working knowledge of all machinery, equipment, and processes. The Assistant Manager will manage their departments and work to achieve plant goals while maintaining a high safety, quality, and productivity standard at the facility.

Schedule: Must be able to work A Shift hours: 6am -2:30pm (or until daily production is completed)

Responsibilities:

• Fast paced work environment
• Ensure the production of sufficient quantities of quality of products at or below budgeted production cost
• Assist in continuous improvement activities to improve the movement of materials through various production processes
• Manage hourly employees, monitor, and approve timesheets and work logs
• Manage all aspects of assembly manufacturing processes for assigned work groups, ensuring that production policies and procedures are strictly adhered to by all employees
• Quality conscious
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Qualifications:

• 2 years required in manufacturing management or other related fields
• High School diploma required
• Ability to handle physical workload
• High degree of dependability, maturity, and strong leadership characteristics as demonstrated through previous professional work experience
• Regular and predictable attendance, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal
• Must be able to work until production is completed for shift
• Must be able to read and comprehend English
