Job Type: Hybrid – 3 days to office & 2 days remote

We are seeking a Python Engineer C12 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience building modern software solutions using Python, microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and emerging AI technologies, with a proven ability to deliver secure and scalable applications that align with engineering and governance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and support Python-based applications and services.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
- Contribute to Agentic AI workflows and MCP-enabled application components.
- Implement integrations between AI models, enterprise systems, and business applications.
- Develop reusable services and components following enterprise engineering standards.
- Participate in the full SDLC including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and operational controls to ensure reliability.
- Contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
- Work with messaging and event-streaming technologies for asynchronous processing.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze requirements and design solutions.
- Support issue resolution, performance tuning, and enhancements.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
- Follow established security, governance, and risk management standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience developing applications using Python.
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and microservices development using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
