Job Overview:
We are seeking a GIS Mapper to support electric utility operations by maintaining and updating geospatial data within GIS systems. This role involves both office-based mapping work and limited field support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain GIS models using work orders and field data
- Perform spatial analysis and generate custom maps
- Produce reports, charts, and mapping outputs
- Maintain asset and service point data relationships
- Support utility infrastructure projects
- Resolve mapping discrepancies and data conflicts
Required Skills:
- 1–2 years of GIS experience (academic or professional)
- Hands-on experience with geospatial data editing
- Understanding of GIS systems and data relationships
- MS Office proficiency
Preferred Skills:
- AutoCAD or MicroStation experience
- Utility industry exposure
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel locally (minimal field work)
