What are the responsibilities and job description for the Amazon Ads Specialist position at TSR Consulting?
Key Responsibilities:
- Support management of on-site Amazon paid media activity (Sponsored Ads, DSP) to meet business objectives and goals, with a focus on Amazon DSP
- Participate in Amazon media strategy and tactical planning, assisting the team in media proposals
- Build and execute Sponsored Ads and DSP campaigns, inclusive of keyword mining, category trends, competitor research, audience strategies, negative targeting, etc.
- Manage pacing and monthly budgets, optimal allocation between ad formats, bidding and related settings, spend reconciliation and other related financial upkeep
- Analyze performance for optimizations and prepare report share-outs, identifying actionable insights and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Channel Marketing, Creative, and Sales to ensure holistic planning and execution
- Identify and implement testing opportunities to drive performance improvements and contribute to broader strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
- Experience in retail media, managing Amazon DSP activations within an in-house, digital marketing, or advertising agency setting
- Interest in or familiarity with retail media platforms such as Amazon Ads, Criteo, or Walmart Connect a plus
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and the ability to develop data-driven insights
- Highly organized, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with multiple priorities
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning new tools and technologies
