Marketing Administrator
Location: Freeport, IL 61032 (100% onsite)
Compensation
- Estimated Total Compensation: $70,000–$75,000 annually
- Base Pay: $20/hr
- Additional Earnings: Commission percentage on total sales
Schedule
Workday Options (one of the following):
- Saturday, Sunday three weekdays
- Tuesday–Saturday
- Sunday–Thursday
Hours:
- Weekdays: 12 PM–8 PM
- Sunday: 8-4 PM
Training:
- Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM for approx. two weeks
Position Overview
The Marketing Administrator supports the marketing and sales teams by serving as the primary contact for all customer inquiries. This role manages inbound communication, schedules estimate appointments, maintains accurate daily schedules for sales representatives, and ensures efficient communication across departments. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Customer Communication & Support
- Customer Communication: Respond to all inbound calls, texts, emails, and web inquiries from customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule estimates and consultations for customers based on location, rep availability, and company goals.
- Schedule Management: Build, manage, and update daily schedules for sales representatives, ensuring efficient routing and minimal downtime.
- Customer Service Support: Address general customer questions and concerns, providing timely and accurate information.
- Call Routing: Direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or team member based on customer needs.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Assist sales reps with any scheduling conflicts or appointment discrepancies.
- Database & CRM Updates: Maintain up-to-date customer records, appointment notes, and follow-up statuses in company systems.
- Communication Coordination: Serve as the communication link between customers, marketing, and the sales team.
- Administrative Support: Provide additional administrative and clerical support to the marketing and sales departments as needed.
Appointment & Schedule Management
- Schedule customer estimates and consultations based on rep availability, customer location, and company scheduling goals.
- Create, update, and manage daily sales rep schedules to ensure efficient routing and minimal downtime.
- Assist with last-minute changes, conflicts, or discrepancies.
Administrative & Coordination Tasks
- Maintain accurate records, notes, and follow-up details in the CRM and company databases.
- Route incoming calls to the correct department or team member.
- Act as the communication bridge between customers, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed, including documentation, internal updates, and organizational tasks.
