The Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing projects from the time an order is secured through to completion. Once our customer places the order, the sales engineer will transfer the job to the project manager (PM). The PM engages with the customer and suppliers, communicates promptly, places necessary purchase orders, tracks material shipments and deliveries, submits invoices, and ensures the project is successful from start to close. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This role works onsite in Irving, TX. Full-time, direct hire, salary benefits & bonus opportunity.
Pay: $75,000 – $85,000

IN THIS ROLE, YOU CAN EXPECT TO HAVE THESE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicates with customers and suppliers regularly to provide status updates, discuss material delivery status, and resolve problems with projects during the order fulfillment process
- Coordinates submittal approval process
- Places purchase orders to our suppliers
- Tracks open/outstanding quotations with customers and suppliers to determine status and negotiate completion
- Follows established standards and procedures for project reporting, communication, project scheduling, and documentation
- Prepares and submits customer quotations/proposals on an as-needed basis for changes during the life of a project
- Regularly processes Invoices and tracks payments
- Completes and closes out a project
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of relative experience
- Knowledge of low and medium voltage systems preferred
- Knowledge of electrical switchgear, including circuit breakers, safety switches, panelboards, Square D, etc. product knowledge is strongly desired
- Excellent communication, including both written and verbal
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency in software applications such as MS Office, Excel, and ERP (Solar Eclipse and SE Advantage) systems
- Job Management software experience a plus
- Proficient in 1-lines and take-offs
- Initiative – Timely action to address day-to-day issues and obstacles
- Self-Starter – Highly motivated to take an idea and work through the details and make recommendations when required
- Judgment – Sound judgment to effectively solve problems
- Collaborative – Works well with others to meet the organization's needs
- Detail-Oriented – Strong organizational and analytical skills
